* Run with one thread less than physical cores.
* Run with low priority manually (task manager -> right click on process -> lower priority).

Is there any way to run an uci engine from another machine, for example to compare two chess engines without interfere between them, or to run through a VPN with the less capable laptop onto the more capable home pc.
