That's ridiculous. If they're unable to communicate effectively using words, the issue is not a lack of emoticons on the forum, but rather with their vocabulary.

Jeremy, many of us are very glad that this forum exists, but please do what you can to keep some sort of standards in place. The quality of a forum is directly related to it's content. If we end up with text-message like posts and huge smiley emoticons / flashing graphics for content, instead of actual chess discussion, I don't think it's going to end well.

Thanks for putting the effort into this forum, it's very much appreciated.
