Is Anyone Banned From Joining OpenChess ??

Post by Sean Evans » Sat Jun 12, 2010 6:11 pm

Hi group,

Based on the posts I am reading some people would not be allowed to post under their real names at open-chess.org is that interpretation correct?

If so, who is on the need not apply or ban list?

Thank you,

Sean

Could you please quote the posts on this forum that leads you to believe that some people would not be allowed to register under their real names. Thank you.

Everyone's allowed. We don't support censorship in any way, shape, or form. Hence the name. You'd have to ask Jeremy to be 100% sure though.

Everyone is welcome. No one has been turned away (nor would anyone be). We won't censor your posts, except in cases of rule breakage: we have removed 2 posts since the opening of OpenChess -- a link to pirated software, and a blatant personal attack, both against the rules.
