Chess software for mobile device, Nokia 200 RM 761

Gentlemen,

There is a mobile device, brand Nokia model 200 RM 761, for which there are certain application programmes that play the game of chess, or which are in some way related to chess. Such executables seem to use the Java language recognised by the mobile device. The problem is that the software expects to be down-loaded directly into the device, by means of an Internet connection of some sort. The device is at present connected to a signal carrier, a service provider, but Internet is not included automatically in that service or it has not been contracted.

It has already been tried the possibility of down-loading the chess software to a full-featured computer, and thence to the mobile device, but to no avail. The Java chess programme sternly refuses to be executed in that way. Very probably the direct down-load from Internet into the mobile device sets parameters that cannot be configured manually via an indirect down-load. It may require deep knowledge of Java programming to do it, or it may be an absolute impossibility. This is the question that is formulated to the distinguished members of this chess forum.

Are there any ideas, proposals or suggestions on how the problem might be solved ?

Receive in advance an expression of gratitude for the time and effort of addressing the issue, an encouragement for keeping the activity of this excellent chess forum, and a strong Confederate Salute. Dixieland for ever !
