I greet you - I also sometimes yell - Proteus and in my opinion it, like all engines, plays on an equal footing. You can see my nickname on PlayChess - LARISA 1980. I play with everyone, the rating is not important to me. The main thing is the game.

I find it absolutely unfair that there are accounts that say: "I only play against better Elo". Well, if everyone does that, then what? That breaks the server! Not only does ProteusSF that, he even wrote that to all the people in the chat.

Assuming I have 3000 Elo and am last. Everyone in front of me says they only play against better ones. Where do I find my opponents then?

Play as you like, I will ask all my friends to ignore such accounts. If you don't play against me if I'm worse than you, I won't allow you to play against me if I'm better than you! That's fair, so ignoring such accounts is really fair! That's why all ProteusSF accounts have been ignored by me for a long time, and for all times.
Peace be with you!

Hi Eduard! I have read the thread with interest and I sincerely congratulate you on how well you document your words.

In the case of Auryn and two other accounts that use DS 4.6, I openly comment that I have no relationship of any kind with these users. You can find me as an A.Ces user and sometimes I upload an engine to the server.

Unfortunately, I haven't had enough time to spend a few hours on the server. But, going back to the original point, it's a disaster that I think the Proteus accounts started... They are definitely throwing away a good platform for coexistence. Let's hope that chessbase takes action on the matter, the fact that there are few accounts was certainly not the original idea of the creators.

On the other hand, the only thing that comes to mind as an answer is to move to infinity server and leave the "Big ego team" alone for a few days.

Regards.

A.Ces.

Hi Anton!
InfinityChess no longer has a sponsor. Nevertheless, a tournament takes place once a week. Unfortunately, only a few are there because there are no more exact dates. I hope that InfinityChess gets a new sponsor.

I like playing freestyle chess and engine prize tournaments there. The Elo is totally unimportant, it's just showing off. Would eg. there will be a new prize tournament, do you think I would show prepared lines before that? Never. On the contrary. I would deliberately play bad lines and I wouldn't reveal the best ones.

What is all this crap about the Elos? I can't buy any of that. I'd rather get a good place in the prize tournament.

As far as I know, Auryn and two other accounts belong to an Italian correspondence chess grandmaster who also plays on InfinityChess (Dovahkiin). He has been playing on PlayChess with Dark Sister 4.6 for many months. I also saw that he had already used a newer version of Dark Sister. But he then went back to Dark Sister 4.6 and is playing like this now. On InfinityChess he uses Dark Sister 5.0

Live from Infinity Chess:

What reason could he have for using an older version instead of a newer one?
Peace be with you!

NOT REAL CRYSTAL
It is a new version of MZ "CrystalMZ 270623". I don't own it and can't say anything about the engine. But I've already tested many engines from MZ, and all of them are good in principle, there were no BUGs. Therefore it is likely that the user did not install the NNUE correctly. MZ always compiles his engines with external NNUE network, maybe he should better embed it in the engine, because of some users (it's not the first time) who are too dumb to see their own mistake.
Peace be with you!

Eduard, you ask me a difficult question to answer. Possibly training DS 4.6 with hundreds and hundreds of games? Possibly not.

DS 5.0 has the capacity to enter five or six bin books, suddenly I don't remember, but I could check the src. (The following version of 5.0 I reverted to two bin book)

The reasons that the user has to prefer one version of another, I do not know. We have seen accounts that continue to use official SF 15.1 and not the following developments... A matter of taste? Maybe...

Yes, I heard about the situation in Infinity, but it could be an alternative to get away from how uncomfortable they are making the chessbase server. But seeing as how the bulk of Chessbase's income isn't computer chess, I doubt they'll lift a finger. There is no choice but for users must take action individually and move to Infinity.

If Infinity server registers more user entries it is possible that it will attract a sponsor.

It is absolutely necessary to have a certain volume of users to make the platform attractive.

Regards.
