the people you talk about in your posting, sam and graham etc.
give a damn shit what the majority of participants decided.

they SAY that they do what the others want.
but in fact they do what THEY wish.

I don't know why people still go into this forum to post there.
i left this forum. and i told the admin to erase my account.
he did not.
in the same way he spits on any other wish of people.

they are a gang.
their target is clear.
all the discussions , this is only a big show to hold the people into the forum.
they need postings. members. discussion. and they create noise
to hold the people there.

i mean its clear that they don't care what bob or others tried to explain.
they don't need content.
they would act in the same way no matter what others will vote for.

they took over the board.
and it fits into the plan of the company who pays for the forum.

it makes no sense to talk to them. they are not talking about computerchess
issues. they show that they do not respect others. thats all.

So Steve B. does not like idea of Open Chess and that we should have waited after a new election. hmmmmm? But there was an election in which the mandate was clear. Where were you when the election was nullified in coup? Where were you when the top voter getter was forced to resign? Nothing personal Steve, you probably mean well, but not looking at it from a factual and objective point of view.

I cross-talk in CCC not because I want to go there as a place, but because there are still there lot of people and even friend with which I like to read and talk to.

steve tries to rescue CCC; i have great respect for him doing this.
but i doubt he will have success.

as long as the usual people post in CCC, manipulate behind the scene,
nothing will change.

it looks that you are right, unfortunately. :-(

The censoring policy and censors have not changed the behaviour although they are telling we were wrong in understanding...
That what was moved and hidden is staying there although in the case the EO subforum shall be made unhidden. It is easy step not done.

I totally agree.
Aided by engines, GMs can be very strong.

My greetings to all members here, in a free Open Forum, where my "political" ativities are not needed anymore.
It is a normal place, and in such a place there is no any reason to think about how to take power by an electoral process.

However, from time to time I have a look at CCC, without logging, of course.

Best wishes to this forum, and my apologies to Jeremy for my suspicions about his own standpoint.

wow...

i can't tell you all great it is to see the truth finally coming out!
i have felt this way for a long time now...

I agree completely with everthing above...and support you 100%
the situation at talkchess.com is absolutely hideous!

clearly a group of 'corrupt' good old boys (i exclude Bob Hyatt here) : interested in one thing: preserving their undo power and influence at any cost.
thank God for this forum!
Jeremy, and others...you've done great job.

i realize that you feel strongly against Fire being closed source...
no problem i will open it immediately...with next release.

to Sean, etc., and all the Houdini critics...
get over it!

Houdini is #1...too bad!
even if he used Ippo, or Rybka, or Crafty...if he referenced, copied, it, cloned it, derived from it, carbon copied it, xeroxed, ...who the hell cares!?
Rybka based on Fruit is beloved, even worshipped!?

he has made progress and has produced the #1 engine! significantly stronger than anything else!
that in and of itself is highly commendable! and IMHO nothing else matters...
