+1 on "thank you" and best wishes to this forum. Much needed and overdue.

May I suggest a space for members to have some friendly correspondence matches? Multi-engine postmortem analysis/discussions would be very interesting.

I completely agree. Maybe we can get Steve over here and have another match with one of his machines =P

Go Jeremy!

Though really, why didn't anybody do this before? No ambition?

Suggestions:
Instead of engine-specific forums, you might want to try 'Commercial Engines' and 'Free Engines' or something like that.
A forum for correspondence games.

Oh, and the and stuff is great.

Best of luck with OpenChess,
Peter

I'm glad this has come to be! Posting on other boards and having to tiptoe around names of engines and such is a bit ridiculous. The key will be getting a sufficient volume of people to move here. I certainly hope they do!

All the best wishes for this site and its posters!

Roy

I WAS a member of CCC since they opened in 1997. I am no longer a member. Glad to be here on OpenChess. I have been testing, and playing with chess computers since the first chess computers you could buy in the 70's. Glad to be here on OpenChess.
