I think it's safe to say that with your last move 12. ... exd4, you have taken me out of the theory I know of this opening. I was expecting 12. ... c5, but not for you to part with your center e5 pawn.

It might just be a bad move, of course. I'm not good enough at this point to have a great grasp/basis of opening theory. I considered c5, but felt like it would lead to some attacks on the d-file which I wanted to avoid.
