I seriously under-tipped in my kicktipp.de pool. Dang.

Australia is not a powerhouse, but it doesn't detract from how well coordinated Germany is. I have not seen any weaknesses thus far.

Löw gets a pretty hard time from the critics here, but he is apparently doing something right. The communication and coordination of the players is amazing.

i overestimated australia.
they were very weak, especially in the second half they looked like old bags.

therefore no goal for them... but my 4 was right.

the german team has very young players !! it was maybe very good that so many of the old guys had injuries. very good that ballack was injured. i never liked this idiot.

yes this was suprisingly a very good game of the german soccer team.
i especially liked the switch to the right wing, the way they passed the ball to each others.
on the other hand: the opponent was weak.
lets see how we can handle a more difficult opponent.

the best for me was: this was the 1st soccer game i watched with my son !
he is now nearly 5 and we had much fun !!!

Being only the first game, I would like to think that they will only get better and even tighter. They were physically superior as well, kept running until the last minute.

Can't wait for Brazil, Portugal and Spain to see how strong they are coming together.

this is an inhuman statement, remember also one deplorable suicide of a goalkeeper. Seeing all that foregoing bad fate, Germany had not been enqueued among the favorites, but now the performance of the German squad counts twice. And this will hold until there might be another shock and awe introduction of any so called favorite.
