Proving that his natural genius is still enough to defeat the Droid in a short 10 game match .........

Final Update

Post by JackStraw » Thu Nov 11, 2010 6:00 pm

I decided to stop the tournament for 2 reasons : A) I couldn't stand to see my beloved Bobby go down to defeat , and B) I just recently realized that the Droid has actually been playing at 60moves/5 mins , repeating , and not Game/5 mins ........... which calls in to question the previous results.............

I've decided to do one more tournament , with equal time controls ...... Going to revisit the Crafty match up , using a modern version 23.3 , and try to get to 50 games eventually , with periodic updates..........

In the 4 games played against Fischer , at disputed time controls , DroidFish was leading +2 , -1 , =1

Maybe it's the climate , but Fischer's game seems to have gone cold..........

Game 2
Date : 2010.11.9
White : DroidFish
Black : Bobby Fischer
TimeControl : Game/5 mins for Fischer , 60 moves/5 mins , repeating for DroidFish
Result : 1-0
