Aart, definitely I dont know how to download the Nalimov TBs I have, to my Android tablet , and to charge them into your CFA.
I need a complete explanation, STEP BY STEP, about how to do that.
The links or webs to access and how to do it properly , but bit by bit, as I am lost. And the Gaviota and Scorpio too, please.
Thanks in advance.

Okay, how about these step-by-step instructions?

(1) Make sure you have the tablebases somewhere on the desktop
(2) Connect Android device through USB cable to desktop
(3) On device, chose "Copy files to/from computer" option (this varies a bit per device, but if done right, this pops up a window on your desktop that provides access to the device's SD card)
(4) In that window, right click and create folder (I suggest tb for Nalimov, gtb for Gaviota, egbb for Scorpio, and robbo for RobboTotalBases).
(5) Now copy the tablebases from the desktop into the newly created folder on the Android device's SD card
(6) Repeat (4)-(5) for all tablebase sets (like Nalimov, Gaviota, etc.)
(7) Turn of USB storage option on Android device, you are done!

Alex,
Below some links for downloading Gaviota and RobboTotalBases. Otherwise, please be a little more specific what is still unclear in the process.
Hope this helps.

Instructions and tools to generate the Gaviota endgame tablebases can be found at:
http://sites.google.com/site/gaviotachessengine/Home

The RobboTotalBases can be downloaded directly from:
http://chess.cygnitec.com/RobboBases/RobboTotalBase/

Ok, Aart.
I will do that and keep you informed.
Strong UCI engines, Nalimov TBs, in my case, together with opening books on your platform coming with new versions. A dream made real.
Many, many thanks again.
Waiting for your news.
Regards.

Hi Aart,

Thanks so much for creating this Chess program for the Android Tablet.

I just downloaded it and it works very well, and is easy to use.

The other nice thing about it is that you can load up pgn files and view
other games with it.

By far it seems to be the best and most easy to use chess program for
the Android Tablet.

My thanks again to you.

Cheers!
