"Einstein wuerfelt nicht" for WinBoard

Post by H.G.Muller » Mon Jul 04, 2016 10:40 am

Just for fun I wrote a WB engine to play the game "Einstein wuerfelt nicht". This was a nice test case to see how one could handle games that involve dice. It was possible to do this using oly standard featuresof WB protocol, but the standard version of WinBoard unfortunately contained a bug that prevents you from entering moves when you have no King. (An unintended side effect of Atomic Chess.) So I bundled a version of WinBoard that fixes this with the engine, as well as piece graphics tailored to the game. The package can be downloaded from http://hgm.nubati.net/einstein.zip .
