UPDATE 2

New unofficial testings about to check error margin..
648 games can be considered as good stats but still
Not enough.. regarding to see right/accurate points,
Very likely over than 1000+ games (per player) needed

For examples, normally in ongoing (official) tournament:
1st test, PlentyChess is performed: 354.5 / 648 (54,73%)
1st test, SF FS 050423is performed: 347.0 / 648 (53,56%)
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And here are the latest new (unofficial) testings:
2nd test, PlentyChess is performed: 347.0 / 648 (53,56%)
3rd test, PlentyChess is performed: 355.0 / 648 (54,8%)

2nd test, SF FS 050423 is performed: 347.0 / 648 (53,56%)
3rd test, SF FS 050423 is performed: 365.5 / 648 (56.3%)

GAMES (database contains the latest unofficial testing games):
https://mega.nz/file/nxQX3ZLA#Su-IuB4Tn ... FTTHBIJ3HE

As final conclusion,
Via PlentyChess is ok...proved so times to be one of best!
But this time I wish to congratulate APOCALYPSE too! who is
The author of SF FS 050423, really an amazing eng for sure,
Which is another great attacker, close in style as Morphy!

One thing more, (for anyone missed, in the official tour):
I've realized to test also Stockfish 070423 dev. which uses
Exactly same Evalfile (that used SF FS..) is performed: 51%

In other words,
I'd like to mention here, via 3rd (unofficial) testing,
SF FS 050423 has best record so far: 56.3% win. perc. !

And it seems (sure I refer for more accurate metrics etc.)
In future tours: I have to increase the number of games...

Best,
Sedat

UPDATE 3

Just one more unofficial testing (regarding error margin too),
Where nıow Stockfish 070423 dev. is played extra 1296 games!

GAMES:
https://mega.nz/file/DhpRXDiC#RsSkrV5eR ... kHmHbwiwew

Continuing....

In overall (merged latest 2nd + 3rd tests in one),
E.g Stockfish 070423 dev. is performed: 50,9%

And once more, in the official competition:
Stockfish 070423 dev. is performed: 50,6%

But if we are going to count all (1944) played games:
Then Stockfish 070423 dev. performed average: 50,8%

And after all, what we noticed and have to learn over... ?
Stockfish 070423's gained points are less and more fixed...
E.g close to 51%, where PlentyChess + SF FS 050423?'s points
Are more variable and higher in same time that means to us:
The both Top mentioned engines are more dangerous as well!

And moreover, it seems
With some players, even 648 games is ok, but with some,
Even much more games (per player) required to be played!

Meanwhile, it's interesting to know also that,
- What is the Top secret behind SF FS 050423 ?
As we see..even via same Evalfile, but theirs
Gained points are far away (from each other)
Sure here I refer for Stockfish 070423 dev.

Greetings )

UPDATE 5

Meanwhile, a new idea is born:
I started to work over a new exciting project too, and as players
Will be mainly 3700+ e.g many older SF based engine vers. plus
Many former Champions will be played out..Note also that tour
Conditions will be handicapped (as recent tours) as main diff.
All Top engines will use to play with more newer openings too..
Later, the best ones will be resumed to play with more games!

On the other hand,
Via planning competition, I expect to see great performances, but
Not from the latest SF releases... e.g newest SF ones perform worse!
Sure after all time will tell the true: newer or older will be stronger!

Btw, let's see this time which of the engines will be pure
Genius in attacks (as to Paul Morphy's attacking style ?!)

And please stay tuned.. more news soon as possible...

Best,
