Will the Arena GUI be updated?

It's July 2010 and I see that Arena the GUI for chess engines is still sporting an old install dating from 2009. Is this GUI getting any updates anytime soon? Because it's looking long in the tooth as far as I can tell and definitely needs a serious upgrade. So...does anybody know through the grapevine whether the Arena interface is getting an update for 2010? Heck, in the meantime...the open source program SCID was updated in March and it's doing very well.

You could go to the Arena forum and check.
