Alexander 1.3 wins Arena Amateur Engines Test by CEDR 03-06.05.2024

This is another tournament of new versions of amateur chess engines. The best result was the Alexander 1.3 engine, but it is worth noting the good results of the next three engines in the table: Winter 3.07 JA, Weiss 2.1 JA and Cheng 4.48.

Deep Blue-20240315 wins Strong Engines Tournament (Tests by Jörn Gronemann, Heide, 2024.05.07 Time: 3'+3")

This is another good result of the Deep Blue-20240315 engine. Undefeated and +5.
The official Stockfish 16.1 version is in the middle of the table at 50% - time to release Stockfish 17!

Kobra 1.1 wins Amateur League CEDR group A6 edition 03/2024, 07-08.05.2024

The Kobra 1.1 engine achieved a fantastic result of 38 points out of 38 games. Congratulations to the author!
The following engines were also promoted: Queen 4.05, Shuffle 5.2.0 and Arcanum 2.0.
The last four engines in the table dropped, including two: CDrill 2000 and Kimbo 1.0.0, which failed to run (errors) in the Banksia GUI.

PlentyChess 1.0.0 achieved a very good result (37 points from 38 games).
The following engines were also promoted: Equisetum 1.0, Clarity 6.0.0 and Alexander 1.3.

The AbbyStein v2.8 engine achieved a very good result. Next are CorChess 20240502 and Raid 3.6 TR.

The new Titan 1.0.0 and Yakka 1.0 engines were promoted to a higher group. The game of the Titan engine looks particularly good, who knows, maybe this chess engine will enter the TOP-64?
The Floyd 0.9 and Aurora 1.11.4 engines were also promoted to the A7 group.

Berserk 13 won another big Middle Class Chess Engines tournament.
We also have the first reliable test of the Titan 1.0.0 engine - it promises to be very good.

The tournament is won by the Arasan 24.2.2 engine without losing. Alexander 1.3 has the same number of points and Igel 3.55 in third place.

Another large test tournament was won by Berserk 13. The Obsidian 12.0 engine also achieved a good result.
We are also waiting for the next version of the PlentyChess 1.0.0 engine, because this chess engine promises to be very good!

Another tournament of powerful chess engines is won by Raid 3.6 TR. Right behind him, CorChess 20240509, half a point less.
And then a few engines that took shared third place: HypnoS 040524, Deep Blue-20240315, Sun 12, Brainlearn 28.1, Stockfish 20240513, ShashChess 35.3.
