Better to just keep everything on one thread should these modifications continue...
IvanHoe now understands many more positions better and searches a little bit deeper. it is still about 10-15% slower than Houdini, and that's a disadvantages if searching too deep, especially, in very fast games. IvanHoe does not evaluate Rooks well in general, and it's still being worked on.
A sample game:
At present, I wouldn't recommend using RobboBases until the
show stopping bug is corrected.

Hi King,
When I recently tested your engine I have used the old RB and did not have a single crash.Similar things happen with other Ivahoe versions. When using the full RB of about 125 GB the crashes start to occur. It looked that the problem was solved by Peterpan but so far with complete RB crashes still happen from time to time but less than before.Maybe the problem is with 6Z folder.

The issue in this case is not a crash but playing the wrong move. The following position is draw, but TripleBase bug causes IvanHoe to play Qxh3 which results in a loss.

Hi King,
so looks like that there are 2 problems. One is a bug that plays the wrong move and the other that causes crashes.
Right now I am playing the games with triplebases without the 6Z folder and so far no problems.
When I have tried the full triplebases there was a crash in the first game at the end and the engine was in a blocked state so it was going to lose the second game because it was stuck after the opening moves.
I have looked at the Ippolit site to see if I could again download the 6Z folder but what is there seems to me is not the same I have downloaded before.
Even without the 6Z folder the triplebases are about 84 GB so that is enough to help at the end games

hi KLO
I cannot reproduce this bug you are referring to with my Ivanhoe B47e compilation of this great source.
I have the complete 6 men TripleBases and also 5 men TotalBases.
I tested firstly with only the 6 men TripleBases.
I tested secondly with 6 men TripleBases and 5 men Totalbases.
In both cases Ivanhoe sees he cannot capture the pawn.
Does this problem occur in analysis mode as well with you ?

Hey PeterPan, check out the screenshot:
