Thank you and excellent news to see a newer PlentyChes ver!
You may notice or not, for example according to Yoshie2000,
Current release is about 20+ Elo stronger than previous ver..
If true.. means (after SF) 2nd strongest Public chess engine!
After all, to be sure,...you know,
Serious testings required...but there is one true,
Under handicapped conditions, with odd pieces:
PlentyChes fully deserves to be called as P. Morphy!)
Greetings
Agreed...Homayoun wrote: Sat Jun 07, 2025 7:56 pmHi SedatSedat Canbaz wrote: Sat Jun 07, 2025 3:24 pmHello Homayoun,Homayoun wrote: Fri Jun 06, 2025 9:32 pm Plentychess 6.0.0

Thanks too. Yes, Plentychess is one of the bests and also plays beautiful chess which is very important and also rare nowadays. Very nice engine and also complete freeware package ( it supports chess 960 too. )
Best regards

Yeah...not always (as current situation):Homayoun wrote: Sat Jun 07, 2025 10:02 pm Sometimes we see that there is difference between what an author claims about his/her engine ELO and what exists in reality ( may be better to say: in others tests) , according to different tests conditions. I played some blitz games with this version of Plentychess (6). And I feel it is not an aggressive engine too. Obsidian is more aggressive. Combination of strength and aggressiveness is very important. I think because the Obsidian author also contributes to Patricia engine( the most aggressive engine) project.
