HAIKU engine and GUIs known?

There is a still alive follow up project for BeOS / Zeta / OpenBeOS called Haiku http://www.haiku-os.org/. Is there known any related chess programming activity?

Haiku currently seems also to be supported by Qt. Whether or not to write a Qt based 10x8 and 8x8 GUI for UCI related chess engines might be discussed using German language at "Deutsches Forum".
