Thanks. Interesting as always. It seems that SFpb is very stable like stockfish itself. Not only this test, all of the tests that I have studied, show this fact.Sedat Canbaz wrote: Thu Aug 24, 2023 8:37 am SCCT Duel - CorChess vs SF-PB is ended:
About +7 Elo (in favor for SF-PB 160823)
The Winner: SF PB - Congrats to Skynet, SF team!
The Overall Draw-Ratio (based on 310 games): 95%Code: Select all
1 SF-PB 160823 +11/-5/=294 50.97% 158.0/310 2 Corchess 140823 +5/-11/=294 49.03% 152.0/310
GAMES:

More Details,
It's clear that the overall draw ratio is increased!
Actually nothing strange...reason, SF team seems to
Be working on optimizing over Evalfiles, plus since
Unique 170623 suite is publicly available so I assume
That is easier vs current opening lines (to be tuned)
E.g as reference/evidence, when current openings were
As private..then the overall draws were about 85%-90%
E.g now, as we see the overall draws are close to 95%
I mean, Unique openings are became drawish as Balsa!
Btw, I have to keep next newer Unique ver as private)
If nothing else,
We'll see more fun for sure...at least for my side!
As final words, it's clear also that:
Mostly of SF-PB vers perform not bad via SCCT conditions!)
Best,

So once more proved its tittle that
In case of non-learning engines:
SF-PB is SF-PB, reality is reality!

Many thanks
Re: SedatChess
Mr. Sedat, thank you very much for the test. I am very interested in that suite with which this duel has worked. As soon as you release this suite I will use it to measure the progress of the four engines with which I update (two public and two private engines).
Best regards for you and OrgZ.

You are welcome
I do not know...but as usual,
Your engines are doing not bad in my competitions!
Someone have to STOP YOU !! that's TOO MUCH !)
You may know,
When from same author's engine/book is as usual a winner..
Then I'm in pressure) that may call it as CHEATING ))
Because some already said so...but what I can do...?
If your engines are winning...this is not my problem!
About the private Unique opening suite,
Don't worry.. it's almost same as the public one..
Just added a few newer openings...
So it's still not ready to be released...
Greetings )
